A mega event to showcase the working of pixel 2 was successfully organised by Google ( Team Pixel ) in Mumbai on the 24th of January. Our mentors for the day were Joseph Radhik and Auditya Venkatesh who gave us some really helpful tips on how to make most of the pixel camera.
They shared with us some useful tips on how to click better pictures on our devices. Followed by this was a photo challenge in which different teams had to compete through the day. Our stay in Taj Lands End was amazing. The hotel had all amenities one could ask for. Sprawling spaces, spas, and the lush green environment but I could not explore much since my day was really busy. The fact that I was sleeping just a few minutes away from Shahrukh Khan’s house made me sleepless.
The photo challenge tour was in the touristy locations for our team. Our team visited the most sort after destinations of South Mumbai for the photo shoot. Our team travelled together that triggered a sense of team spirit, togetherness and competitiveness amongst us.
It was a very thrilling experience as we got to know a lot about each other. Our photo tour began from the Colaba causeway where one could capture the architecture and heritage of old Mumbai along with a walk in the flea market that sold a variety of things at throwaway prices. Next we headed to CST for some photography. Our timings of the arrival were just a few minutes after the sunset when the sky was completely orange that made the view completely vivid and mesmerising.
The Bandra Worli sea link was the next spot but by the time we reached there the sun had already set but we got to use the low light of Pixel 2 to click some pictures. The night view captured was the best of all places. There were so many talented photographers in our tour.
For our dinner we headed to the floating restaurant AB Celestial. It was a floating restaurant where I got to interact with many more talented bloggers, influencers and photographers. We were joined by Atul Kasbekar, who announced two winners from each team. I was totally mesmerised by the view from the floatel. All in all, the event was a great learning experience as well as fun filled.
