What a treat Desaru Fruit Farm was. I am no photographer but I tested my brand new Google Pixel 2 XL in the photogenic fruit farm and really loved how the pictures came out, so I thought of creating this photo blog. Most of the pictures in this post are unedited! I am really loving this phone.
The wide range of exotic fruits available in these tropical farms, is unmatched. The vibrant colours create a joyful aura. There are seasonal fruits like Durian, Rambutan, Pulasan and Mangosteen, and perennial ones like Amra (Kedondong), Roseapple, Guava, Passionfruit, Jackfruit, Abiu Fruits, Pineapple, Mango, Limau Kasturi, Soursop, Breadfruit, Thousand Fingers Banana, Brazilian Longan and many more.
A serve of these refreshing fruits, planted and freshly picked from the farm itself, is the taste buds’ paradise. The unending Orchards house fruits and plant varieties of upto 500 types.
Moreover, these vast farms, spread over 100 acres of land, welcome people of varied demographics for a pleasant tour across. In these tours, one learns to select good fruits, and even purchase some of your favourites.
And these aren’t the only attractions this place prizes.
The petting zoo is home to the most adorable baby bunnies, to ever been seen. Hopping around their cage, these little bundles of joy, spread around the warmth of new life.
Apart from this, there is the ornamental Koi Fish pond. The pond has in its care Thousand Finger Banana and Musa Veletina Banana. These fish are rare and completely unsuitable for consumption as they are highly poisonous.
The herbal garden at Desaru Fruit Farm has aroma that strikes deep within the soul. With different kinds of basils, and magnificent amount of cocoa, this garden spreads its fragrance from the word go!
This unique alliance between the fauna and flora, paints a magical picture across these lands. A picture, the beauty of which, is impossible capture in a couple of photographs. A picture, which can best be appreciated only by being a part of it.
