FESTIVELLE – STRICTLY A ‘WOMEN’S ONLY’ AFFAIR!

If you have been following me on Instagram and other social media forums you must have noticed I was in Mumbai last weekend to attend the first ever women only Festivelle curated by actors turned entrepreneurs Gul Panag and Shruti Seth in Mumbai on 17-18th of December at the Juhu Hotel. Festivelle is designed only for women. The fest was all about music, comedy, fun conversations, food, shopping and much more.

The two day Festivelle had a line-up of discussions on everything from motherhood to orgasms, fun workshops, comedy gigs, food carnivals, skin therapy, hair styling, make up and much more. Women got to watch performances by stand up comedians like Neeti Palta, Anu Menon and Kaneez Surka, also musicians  like Alisha Pais and Nush lewis. There were a few men in the line-up on popular demand by the girls like Prateek Kuhad, Kanan Gill, Sapan Verma and Ankur Tiwari. The vibe was such that it practically felt like Gul Panag and Shruti Seth were throwing a party and all the ladies were invited.

Here’s a list of the fun conversations that took place in Festivelle :
  • Lessons We Can Learn From Kim Kardashian
  • It’s Good To Be A Bad Mom
  • Sisterhood: Cheaper Than A Shrink
  • I Am My Hormones
  • Real Orgasms Are Our Birthright And We Shall Have Them
  • Why Every Woman Should Have A Secret Stash
  • Get Fit, Woman
  • Back To The Battlefront

I cannot express in words  how beautiful the venue was. While I was there I had a jolly good time and posted a lot of pictures on my Instagram and Snapchat story showing what a magical and sparkly festival it was. I wish I could have stayed back on Sunday as day 2 had even more interesting sessions and exciting performances but I had to leave due to prior commitments.

So if you missed it, here is a little glimpse into Festivelle!
