“If an year was tucked inside a clock then Autumn will be the magical hour”. Autumn is the season of the soul and a trip to Kyoto in October is the ultimate vacation you can ever ask for. The nature is painted in the hues of yellows and reds while the Cherry blossom’s refreshing pink acts as a breath of summer. Gentle sun, blue sky, lush marigolds, soaring birds form a lovely backdrop for a simple stroll in the city.
I had been invited to Kyoto for an influencers meet organised by Google. The purpose of the trip was to focus on Digital Wellbeing which is also a new feature on the Google Pixel 3. I can safely say that the trip was a humongous success. Meeting bloggers, Youtubers and influencers from all over the world in a city which is so genial and absolutely breathtaking was as if I was dreaming with my eyes open.
With over 4000 historical monuments including temples and shrines and the charming streetscape of the old city, it truly becomes a sight to behold. Kyoto is an abode to several lakes as well. Pacing along Lake Biwa, the Buddhist gardens surrounding it and the magnificent view of the vast mountains was extremely picturesque.
Here are some pictures I clicked with my Google Pixel 3 XL. Will be updating my entire experience in the coming week.
